Built by someone who needed it
I'm Keith Ramsey — a developer, a SQL Server DBA, and a technology enthusiast.
I came into the MCP world a little blind. As a DBA and a power-tools enthusiast, I saw the value of MCPs early, started building them, and got pulled in deep — trying to make good products and learning as I went.
Once I'd been at it a while, I hit a wall: I had no way to monitor my own MCPs. I struggled to see what they were doing or how they were holding up. So I built myself a personal MCP manager for my computer — and it helped. But I still had nothing on mobile, no way to see what my MCPs were doing when I was away from home. I built MCPatrol as something I knew I'd use, and the further I got, the more I realized others might use it too.
I still feel a bit like a stranger here. There are dozens — hundreds — of established sites and genuinely brilliant people teaching and building this field, and I don't pretend to be one of them. I'm not one of the well-known voices, and I'm not part of the origin structures of all this. But I do hope to play a part. This works for me, and I'm hoping it works for you.

This AI adventure we're all stepping into is a whole new time, place, and industry — a wonderful moment to enter. That's what I'm trying to do here, as an entrepreneur and an American: get into it, contribute, and see where it takes us. It's a brave new frontier. I hope you love it.
